In Home Design Consultation
Perfect if you already have an existing space that need’s reimagined or are just wanting guidance on an overall vision. This includes 2 hours of consultation, both in-person and virtual follow-ups. Color palatte, finishes and material direction included. Suggestions for lighting, furniture and layout. Final design notes and recommendations. $550.00 per room/per project

I offer full-service holiday styling for homes, storefronts, creative spaces. I blend nostalgia, color, craftsmanship, and storytelling into immersive seasonal moments. In Home Design Package
For clients who want a bit more structure and visual guidance. This includes two in person meetings with virtual follow-ups. A full digital design plan. Moodboard with; color palette, material direction, finishes and furnishings. Product sourcing list with purchasing links. Two rounds of revisions provided if needed. $1200.00 per room/per project.
E-Design
Not local? Not a problem. My E-Design services bring bold, collected, story-driven interiors straight to your inbox. Through a collaborative virtual process, I create custom mood boards, floor plans, and curated shopping lists tailored to your space and your life. You implement the design on your own timeline; with the clarity, creativity, and layered vision of a fully developed MBR design guiding the way.
Photo Styling & Visual Storytelling
Every image tells a story. The question is, what story is that image telling?
This service is for marketing creatives, brands, publications, and individuals who want their spaces to feel intentional, layered, and emotionally resonant.
From styled interiors and tablescapes to detailed driven vignettes; I curate scenes that feel lived-in, collected, and visually compelling. Each element is chosen to support the larger narrative. Color, light, texture, and placement working together to create imagery that feels both elevated and authentic.
I love a blank canvas for about 2 seconds.

For Spring KC Fashion Week 2025, I created a serotonin landscape. The 10×10 room was filled with custom structures, sculptural florals, crocheted flowers, and a groovy 70’s flower child wallpaper. All to bring Emma at JamJar Clothing Collection a safe place to land. I wanted her clothes to come alive.

I am Melissa, an interior designer and stylist with a love for bold pattern, old-meets-new pairings and rooms that feel layered with memories. My work blends vintage finds with timeless pieces, rich textures with playful details and balancing beauty and humor and beauty with practicality. Because homes should support real life, and not just look good in photos.
After nearly two decades working across design, various forms of styling, fashion, retail and creative direction I have learned that the most meaningful spaces are the ones that honor who you are. Whether I’m styling a single room, developing a collection, or helping a client reimagine how their home, my goal is the same: create something that feels deeply personal and fully lived in.
I begin every project by getting to know you and everyone who shares the space (including the furry ones. Husbands too).
Inspiration often comes from unexpected places: a forgotten heirloom, a favorite record, a piece tucked away in storage, collection of your favorite band’s live show posters. From there colors and scenes begin to unfold like a film. Layered, intentional, and full of details that help bring the story of your life out for everyone to enjoy.
I believe beauty can be bold and intentional. Maximalism isn’t a trend for me. It’s a curated collection of chapters of your life. Thoughtful. Edited. Deeply personal.
